Organized by L'Orignal Firefighter Association and Champlain's Parks and Recreation Department, the festivities brought together the community for a day of fun, entertainment, and national pride.

From noon to 10 p.m., L'Orignal Beach was bustling with activity as more than 1500 residents and visitors of all ages came together to enjoy the diverse range of events. The sunny and warm weather added to the vibrant atmosphere, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time.

Community partners played a significant role in the success of the Zumba event, offering products, and information, and engaging with attendees throughout the day. The programming included a beach party with a DJ, bouncy castles, a water slip and slide, face painting, a cartoonist, zumba sessions, and a live music show by John & Biz.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the stunning fireworks display over the river, culminating in a breathtaking grande finale.
